Nwagi took to her social media platforms and said her fans should hold off on the pressure they are putting on her over releasing new music.
“Stop asking me for new music...nagwaamu,” Winnie Nwagi posted
According to her, she doesn’t have new music because she’s musically in drought and has no new projects.
She joins other musicians like Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone who have also come out and backed off fans who put much pressure on them by asking for new music.
The Swangz Avenue musical goddess last released a song late in October 2021 and the song was Sasi Kunyama.
Although she hasn't released a song lately, Nwagi is one of the most booked female musicians in Uganda. She is booked both locally and internationally.
Winnie has on several occasions clashed with her fans over different issues, especially those who try to criticise her on different social media platforms.
Last month, when she was on a musical tour in Dubai, she clashed with her fans who were invading her privacy for selfies.
