In a video seen by this reporter, Sipapa said he had gone to Tororo only to return home and learn that police had searched his house and arrested his wife.

He also said Enanga announced that he was on the run yet he had not been summoned. He said he can't refuse to report to the police because he has nowhere to hide. He also said he didn't know about the stolen items that were found at his home.

Sipapa said he's not a criminal and the police are falsely accusing him. He recorded the video at 4:40pm on Tuesday, saying he'd go to Kabalagala Police Post so that he gets his wife released. He said the court will decide.

Despite the Speaker of Parliament Anita Among saying that lawmakers won't allow Nyege Nyege Festival to be held this year, the event organisers have shown optimism that the event will happen as planned.
