His involvement with a dance troupe called Drumbeat, as well as his participation in karaoke and working in a hotel, further honed his skills and broadened his experiences in the entertainment industry.

It was during his karaoke days that Ssuuna Ben met someone who introduced him to the world of radio.

His first job in the industry was with Radio Equator, which was followed by a stint at Buddu FM, where he unfortunately did not receive any payment for his work. Despite this setback, Ben's determination led him to join Bukedde FM and TV.

His transition to Bukedde FM was facilitated by interaction with Moses Walugembe of Agataliko Nfufu over Facebook.

Walugembe inquired if Suuna Ben would be willing to relocate to Kampala.

At the time, Herbert Kabanda, who had initially taken him to Buddu FM, had joined Bukedde as a manager. Walugembe spoke with Kabanda, and the move to Bukedde was executed swiftly.

Recently, Ssuuna Ben has been involved in a love scandal with his workmate Mary Nambwayo with whom they are fighting for property.
