Tamale Mirundi Junior, who was visibly emotional while speaking about his father in a recent interview, said he was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Junior, in a conversation with Kasuku, mentioned that it has been nearly two weeks since his father fell ill.

He explained that doctors, including his brother who works at Kisubi Hospital, have been treating Mirundi at home due to his aversion to hospitals.

During the first week of treatment, there was no improvement, prompting them to admit him to Kisubi Hospital on Sunday. He has remained in the ICU since then.

Mirundi Junior revealed that his father is being tube-fed and has not spoken since his admission to the ICU. The doctors have yet to provide the family with a timeline for his discharge.
