Federation of Uganda Football Association president Moses Magogo has reportedly lost faith in Micho’s assurances that the Cranes will qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
Magogo falls out with Micho AGAIN, coach tables strict demand to exit
Despite reading the riot act after Uganda failed to win against Niger, reports say Moses Magogo has fallen out with Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic again.
Pressure is reportedly mounting on the head coach with the federation fast considering its options before the Cranes regroup ahead of the double header against Tanzania in September.
The Serbian under pressure from the federation is said to have demanded that he is cleared all his contract dues at once if he is to exit.
Micho is said to be earning up to Shs85m a month. He signed the three-year contract in August 2021 with the task to take Uganda Cranes back to Afcon finals.
However, Fufa is said to be hesitant on effecting the same.
Meanwhile, several local coaches and former internationals have backed Micho for the Cranes job arguing that the team needs to adapt and find its rhythm as early as possible.
The Serbian tactician was hailed by coaches including visiting Sundowns coach Rulani. M.
