Uganda Cranes goalkeeper has won the ‘Best Goalkeeper Award ‘in the Ethiopia Premier League Awards.

Lukwago

In his address that was relayed at the ceremony which he couldn’t attend in person, Lukwago downplayed his individual heroics stressing that winning the league title is of much more value.

“We had an amazing season as a team and as an individual… to post 20 clean sheets in 27 games is an outstanding performance but the overall achievement is the team winning the league after three years. That is something I’m much happier about than winning this”, he said.
