"I stopped showing you the good things. I now show you whatever I want. At first, I thought if you're happy, you should just feel free, let it all out and people see because it's normal," she elaborated.
"But I discovered that it's not normal. I chucked you. I'm angry at you."
Rema hasn't been in the news a lot lately, which hints at the depth of her sentiments.
In June, she trended a bit when she narrated how she was called a "monkey” at a Turkish airport by parents of a kid who saw her (Rema) and started crying.
The 'Wandiisa Ki' singer also didn't have it easy with her followers in February when she revealed that she conceived her first child with her current boyfriend Dr. Hamza Ssebunya on Valentine's Day.
She shared three pictures, including one where she was kissing and cuddling with Ssebunya and said: "... it is a double celebration for us, Valentine's Day and the day when my hubby Dr. Ssebunya 'scored'."
Their daughter, born on November 7, 2021 is called Aaliyah Ssebunya.
Before dating the medical doctor, Rema was with the recording artist Eddy Kenzo with whom she gave birth to her first daughter named Aamaal Musuuza.
The period during the breakup also attracted a lot of media attention, with many wondering why the singer had decided to split from Kenzo who had become a household name in the music industry.
Rema Namakula, who was a back-up singer to Halima Namakula and later Bebe Cool, has had a very successful music career, having broken through with her single 'Oli Wange' that was written by Nince Henry.
Some of her hit songs 'Oli Wange', 'Katonotono, 'Lean On Me', 'Lowooza Kunze', 'Deep in Love', 'Muchuuzi', 'Atuuse', 'Kukaliba', 'Fire Tonight' and 'Ceaze and Sekkle', and 'Loco'.
