Sipapa, his girlfriend Shamirah Lukia Nakiyemba, and other associates are accused of robbing the home of Jacob Arok in Bunga, a Kampala suburb on the night of August 28.
They allegedly took away $429,000 (about Shs1.7 billion) in cash and an assortment of items that includes laptops, jewelry, and phones, which were used to track them.
"Sipapa, if you took the money, if this video reaches you, me as an embezzler, that money, if you made sure that you stole without breaking the law, you have to apply knowledge; the problem is that you made a mistake... The South Sudanese national should have deposited the money on your account without you having to go to his house to rob him,” Black sternly said in a video seen by this reporter, adding that he should persevere and serve the punishment in order to retain the money.
"They don't steal. Personally, if you have the money,.. even if it means serving 10 years, he should serve them. The economy is tough and it is also very sunny. He should stay there; how was he helping the country?”
Bad Black herself was imprisoned about a decade ago after stealing from British tycoon David Greenhalgh. The duo met in 2009 at the Rock Gardens in Speke Hotel, Kampala, and started hooking up.
Just 18 months into the relationship, the British businessman was accusing her of embezzling over Shs11 billion at the time.
Meanwhile, Sipapa and his girlfriend have been remanded to Luzira prison on allegations of aggravated robbery until September 19 when they return to court for mention of their case.
