Through an official statement shared by Ykee Benda on his Twitter from Mpaka Records, the letter says there is no disagreement between Dre Cali and Mpaka records.
Ykee Benda refutes break up with Dre Cali
Over the previous weeks, rumours have been circulating around Ykee Benda parting ways with vocalist Dre Cali.

The letter says Mpaka records is still in close ties with Dre Cali and his family will come out and share a clear statement of why he travelled to Canada.
The letter says that Mpaka records is a business company and incase of any issue it will be sorted amicably.
There will also be an official letter shared to the media any time soon about the whole situation about Dre Cali and Mpaka records.
Over three years back, musician
Ykee Benda born Tugume Ycliff started his own music record label called 'Mpaka Records'. The 'Farmer' musician was at the start the only musician signed to the label until he finally decided to add another talented musician called Katende Andrew aka Dre Cali to the label.
The two have been working closely together and rumor about their breaking up is believed to be the reason why music and promotion of Dre Cali’s music have been on the low of late.
Dre Cali is believed to have travelled to Canada without any notice to his camp Mpaka Records.
Ever since Dre Cali joined Ykee Benda’s camp Mpaka Records over three years back, he has been managed, financed and promoted by this camp and has managed to release hit songs like Onanagiza,Ebisoka Ne’bisembayo, Best Thing and Ekifuba which have all been recorded and produced from Mpaka Recorded.
