Swangz Avenue signs new artist called Zafaran

Music record label Swangz Avenue has today unveiled a new female artist called Zafaran. Real name Josephine Nakyoonyi is seen in pictures with the whole Swangz Avenue bosses together with both parties’ lawyers signing an undisclosed contract at their Industrial area based offices.

Though details of the contract haven’t been fully shared with the media, its believed that Zafaran and Swangz have signed a long term contract.

Swangz Avenue is popularly known for signing fresh young talents and turning them into mega super stars in the music industry.

The fresh signed talent is believed to have been under professional training with the record label and her face became famous to the public when she appeared in the just concluded Conver sessions that saw musicians like Jose Chameleone and King Saha grace them.

There hasn’t been any shared music of her but according to Swangz, they will be dropping a song from her anytime soon and the public should expect good vibes only from her.

Zafaran now joins musicians like Winnie Nwagi, Vinka who is signed to Sony but managed and the sensational Azawi who are all managed by Swangz Avenue.

Benon Mugumbya, a top director at the label says Swangz looks at retaining all its artists as well as signing new ones.

However the camp has not yet answered the many questions as to why the record label is into signing only females.
