They hadn't held their mixtape party since Uganda was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 which resulted in a lockdown and social restriction that lasted for about many months.

"It’s now official [DJ Roja and [DJ Slick Stuart] will be shutting Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall on 3rd November. Mark your date and be ready for a massive turn-up," reads a statement posted Thursday afternoon on the NBS After 5 Twitter page. The duo co-host the entertainment show with Douglas Lwanga, Edwin Katamba alias MC Kats, and Sheilah Gashumba.

The event featured performances from a number of artistes, including Bella, Red Banton, Henry Tigan, King Michael, Coco Finger, Big Trill, and John Blaq among others.

The 2018 event was held at Golf Course Hotel in Kampala on Friday, November 23.

Their concert announcement comes a day after they were nominated for the 2022 edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).

Tick Talk, the song on which they collaborated with Bebe Cool, DJ Lito, and Sheilah Gashumba landed them a nomination in the category of Best Artist, Duo or Group in African Reggae, Ragga and Dancehall. They are competing with the likes of Fave, Ruger, and KiDi in this group.
