"We told Juliana. She used to sing in English when she had just started singing," said Lubwama holding his nose to mimic a person speaking through the nose.

"But we told her, Juliana, sing in Luganda. When she sang in Luganda, she became one of our icons in Uganda."

Lubwama, who has been in Uganda’s arts industry as a performer and talent manager for several decades, was offering feedback to a kid that was participating in CRK Talent Search. He told the kid, who was performing in English, to try Luganda, too.

Rapper Daniel Kigozi, aka Navio will on September 23 release an album titled Vibes Out The East, becoming his sixth studio album, he announced via Twitter on Tuesday.

It comes after his 2020 album titled Strength, which had a collabo titled Nkwagala Omu featuring King Saha. In 2021 he also worked on well-received a collabo with Sheena Skies titled Rare.

Mr Lee of B2C took aim at Bebe Cool for trash-talking their Amapiano song yet he has now released two jams in the same genre.

"There is a big man who once out of his [tight] schedule made time for an interview to abuse Our Amapiano Song ‘It’s Okay’. He convinced the viewers [that] Amapiano was a very bad style to try out in Uganda. [Maybe] he shifted to South Africa [because] so far he has two Amapiano songs out," he tweeted on Tuesday evening.

In a 2021 interview, Bebe Cool said, referring to B2C: “They had that song ‘Gutujja’. It was a big song and I’m sure they can perform across Uganda with that. I can’t say the same about ‘It's Okay’. They want to capture the international market, but I can tell you, money is here. They should focus on what makes them stars here.”

One of Bebe Cool's Amapiano songs was released yesterday and it is titled Nyege Nyege.

A photo of NBS TV personalities Michael Kibirige, aka DVJ Mercy Pro, and Sheila ‘Salta’ Saltofte sharing a bed got netizens talking as they wondered whether the duo is dating or they're cooking up something.
