End of the weak rap battles to happen this year

The End Of The Weak annual hip-hop rap battles has come back to Uganda after a two years break due to COIVID 19.

They are believed to be starting early May and the organisers are promising something big and better for this year’s edition.

According to St. Nelly Sade Uganda’s ambassador to the annual event says come May the event will be kicking off after almost three years of being off.

The last edition of the event last happened in July 2019 before the country was hit by the pandemic.

The hip-hop rap battles are said to have returned on this new edition with a new partner and awards organisers HiPipo.

The event is characterised by freestyle competitions, Beat Boxing, Acapella amongst others.

When the event last happened, rapper Lyrical G was among the best entertainers and performers of the night.

St Nelly Sade says the rap event was started way back in the 2000s in New York City with hip-hop artists showcasing their talents and has since grown into a competition that’s celebrated globally in the hip-hop genre.
