He later dissolved it and formed Exodus Band, teaming up with Harry Lwanga, Sekamate, Prossy Kankunda, and others. They recorded songs at Tony Sengo's studio with Kankunda as the lead singer and they even held a show at National Theater.

In 1995, he left for the U.K. where he had gone to study Botany but he ended up pursuing a higher diploma in computer science from Princes College.

He returned in 2005 after years of doing menial jobs and cab driving. When he returned, he continued running shops that he had opened while away and also went into events and artiste management.

In the process, he teamed up with friends to start West Records in 2008, an audio production house and media and PR agency.

To join Dembe FM, one day he was listening to the show and presenters shared some wrong information about the late Paul Kafeero. At the time it was owned by Patrick Bitature. He called into the show to correct the hosts.
