Sendi, whose real name is Edward Ssendikadiwa, took aim at Ray G following his feud with Azawi at an event organised by Comedy Store at Mbarara University Inn on Saturday, December 23.
Eddie Sendi trashed Ray G's music pedigree, saying that his only hits are collaborations with celebrated singers and the one whose beat he "stole" from Rwandan producer Element Eleéeh.
Due to disorganisation on the part of the event organisers, the two artistes ended up on stage at the same time and because of a lack of clarity on what exactly happened, fans of both artistes have since been clashing on social media defending either side.
Sendi who seemed convinced that Ray G, real name Reagan Muhairwe, was in the wrong, used the latest episode of Vybe Life UG to poke holes in his music career.
"Ray G you are a fish in a pond... People you are dissing are sharks in the ocean... Realistically, his music is also not all that," said Sendi, a season music critic, who also advised Muhairwe to change his dress code. "Stars don't dress like that. You call yourself a star but you are not yet a star," he said.
According to Sendi, Ray G, whom he called a "leech", is trying so hard to make other artistes be hated by people from Mbarara.
According to him, G's "biggest claims to fame" are duets. He mentioned Yele, a collabo with Geosteady; Yoya, a duet with Levixone; and that his biggest hit is Omusheshe with Spice Diana.
He said One in One, one of Ray G's latest songs -- borrowed the beat of Feo de Toui, a hit that brought together Element Eleéeh, Ross Kana and Bruce Melodie.
He said the only stars that have come from the West are Akiki Romeo, Rasta Charz; his wife, Sister Charity, and Prossy Kankunda. According to Sendi, Kankunda's Akalulu is bigger than all of Ray G's songs.
