The music critic, whose real name is Edward Ssendikadiwa, said there is a possibility Cool is joined by his wife, Zuena Kirema, and their kids during the creation of the list.
Sendi a longtime nemesis of Cool, real name Moses Ssali, said the list needs quantification.
"What the man does, he sits under a mango tree at Kiwatule Recreational Centre with a pen and paper and generates his list," said Sendi while speaking to Caroline Namutebi of M.E Media.
"That's not a musical list. It's a school report. He needs to quantify, stating the reason for including each song... You may find he sits down with his wife & kids and they discuss an issue of national importance... and then they come up with the list. Bebe just wants people to talk about him... He has no music so he needs to find talk-ability. Help me ask him how he included a song talking about weed when you meet him."
It's important to note that while unveiling the list, Bebe Cool said that he was joined by a team while compiling it. He said they among other things talk to deejays and monitor the reaction of revelers to songs during shows. The Gagamel International boss also noted that the numbers assigned to artsites on the list are not in order of rank.
Featuring on the list also comes with benefits.
"The Bebe Cool List would like to offer free studio time to a tune of three songs at Gagamel Records and also offer three free video camera opportunities to shoot their videos to all the artistes mentioned," said Cool in a statement. "This offer is subject to an artiste having his/her own producer and booking studio time two weeks before the programme. The video camera is subject to 150 dollars as facilitation for handler and security."
Eddie Sendi and the Question hitmaker have always had issues, so it's hard to tell whether the former is being objective.
