The girl, he further narrated, went out of the office while crying something that got the attention of the school’s senior woman (a title given to a lady in-charge of the welfare of female pupils/students).

The senior woman, Nakabugo Kudura, immediately reported the matter to Police officers in Bundibugyo district who moved to arrest Ngwabusa.

Enanga said Ngwabusa has since been arrested and will be presented in Court in order for justice to be served.

In a related incident, Police is set to investigate Mubende district education officers after it emerged that Mubende Model Primary School -- a school that has been reported to the authorities over cases of male pupils being sodomised -- has never been permitted to operate.

It should be noted that the school’s warden, Mbazira Bruno, allegedly sodomised a 13-year-old boy whose identity has been concealed.
