According to Spice Diana, she dreads performing at Ugandan shows headlined by Nigerian artistes.
The diva cites inequality in pay as the major reason as to why she shuns the West Africans.
She made these comments while in an interview with Daily Monitor Newspaper pull out, SOOP.
According to Spice, a Nigerian headlining a concert in Uganda will be paid about $50,000 dollars, an equivalent of 182 million shillings, yet a Ugandan artiste with an equivalent star power gets 2 million shillings.
Spice cites this as the main reason she does not perform on their stages.
Spice further vents that Ugandan artistes are largely undervalued yet the overpaid Nigerians hardly perform to the expectation of the crowds.
"Nigerians coming in would not be a bad thing but we are underpriced in the process. A promoter will give a Nigerian $50000 and to stage a concert and then decide to pay you Shs2m that is why I have not performed on their stages. I do not know why they do not value us yet in most cases they do not perform to the expectation of the crowds yet the Ugandan artistes put up memorable performances," she added.
Spice further called upon promoters to invest more at home the same way Nigerians are doing back in their countries than insulting us because we have the potential.
