In a whirlwind of vibrant energy and youthful zeal, Next Media Talks, the quarterly staff meeting of Next Media Services, was transformed into a Gen Z-inspired extravaganza. From the dress code echoing the latest street fashion to performances by Denesi, the Wakiso Dance Kids, and the charismatic Jokwiz Klean, every aspect of the event pulsated with the spirit of the younger generation.

Attendees found themselves immersed in a dynamic atmosphere, where traditional business discussions took a backseat to games and challenges perfectly tailored to the Gen Z audience. Slang translators, song associations, and dance-offs ignited the crowd, fostering an electric ambiance that resonated throughout the venue.

Central to the event was the keynote address by CEO Kin Kariisa, who seamlessly integrated Gen Z vernacular into his speech. Phrases like "I'm gassed to be here" and "let's keep standing on business" peppered his talk, resonating with the audience and highlighting the company's commitment to staying relevant in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

Kariisa's address underscored the importance of catering to Uganda's younger population, recognizing them as not only the majority but also the future of media consumption. With their unique preferences and behaviors, Gen Z represents a demographic that cannot be overlooked in any forward-thinking media strategy.

The climax of the event came with the announcement of Next Kulture's takeover, signaling the dawn of a new era for Next Media Services. This strategic move served as the internal launch of NBS Kulture Konnect, a youthful news bulletin set to revolutionize how news is consumed in Uganda.

NBS Kulture Konnect will be broadcast live across all Next Kulture social platforms—TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube—every weekday at 8 pm. This innovative approach to news delivery reflects Next Media's commitment to meeting Gen Z audiences where they are, embracing digital platforms as the primary medium for information dissemination.

By leveraging the power of Next Kulture, Next Media Services is poised to redefine the landscape of Ugandan media, ushering in a new era of dynamic, engaging content tailored to the preferences of the country's youth.
