He is general director of Germany Boiler Room and oversees the production of Berlin shows and international shows that have taken place in Uganda, Ghana, Cameroon, Mexico, Serbia, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Seoul, New Delhi, Hanoi, Shenzhen and more in the last two years. You’ll find Michail running and DJing as Opium Hum at his own night at Berghain.

Born in Moscow, moving to Germany in the early 90s as a 15-year-old after seeing a flyer for a Berlin show featuring all the breakcore, experimental electronic artists. Michail made an instant decision to move to the city. Soon enough, he began organising parties exploring breakcore and industrial sounds, mixing it with UK dubstep.

Suzie Analogue

A rarity within modern-day electronic music, a prolific black woman singer, songwriter, beatmaker and creator of Never Normal Records who draws from house, footwork, rap, reggae and film to make conceptual music that amplifies her special personal stories.

True to her name, Suzi releases much of her music on formats like tape and vinyl on Never Normal Records, which have found success from the Billboard charts to BBC Radio playlists and places like Boiler Room to New York Fashion Week shows and the widely celebrated designer CHROMAT S/S18 'Serenity' collection for which Suzi composed the live score.

She's traveled to Uganda, the Netherlands and more cities to perform and lead music production courses. Cities influence Suzi's global and inclusive style - fusing soul, hip-hop and vocals with synthesizers and electronic bass instruments into new worlds.

Rophnan

Ethiopian musician, producer, singer, composer, and DJ. His hit track “Get To Work,” a Guragegna-based rhythm that has become one of his hallmark tunes throughout the years, helping propel him into the worldwide stage when it was included on Major Lazer’s “Africa To The World” mixtape.

Rophnan took part in Coke Studio Africa in Nairobi at the end of 2018, where he collaborated with Zambian Rapper Chef 187 on an original tune titled “All The Way.”

In July 2019, he was named one of the continent’s top influencers in the Creative Category on Forbes Africa’s 30 Under 30 list. Rophnan is the first Ethiopian musician to appear on the list.

On May 17, 2021, Rophnan released ‘’SOST’’, his second album.
