"By the way, my fans, I haven't forgotten about you. I've been rebranding... I'm rebranding, very soon, I'll return with a new song, new management, everything new. I haven't forgotten about you," Jazmine said in an interview with BBS Terefayina.

Jazmine split with her former manager Ronnie Mulindwa around June of this year. They had been together for three years.

While performing at David Lutalo’s concert last week, Jazmine revealed that she is set to release songs that he wrote for her.

"There are songs he wrote for me that haven't come out," she said, adding that a music album is underway.

"It's coming, that's what I want to tell you. I see my fans asking... They want new music. There is something I'm up to. I actually posted it sometime back. I told them, there is something I'm working on, it's almost done, it's done... I can say it's done. I'll return in high gear.”

She went on: "I'm not sleeping. I don't sleep... If you know me... I'm on the road every day. There is something I'm cooking. I won't say much.”

The songstress recently asked her fans if she should hold her concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel. According to the feedback offered, she said, she may have to look into another venue.

"Personally I wanted Serena to be my first concert venue. But it looks like my fans... I may be having a lot of them; they may not fit, so I have to... I don't know... early next year we'll announce,” she said.

A number of musicians, including Jose Chameleone, King Saha, and Spice Diana have already scheduled their concerts for 2023.

In August, music analysts Jenkins Mukasa and Eddie Sendi took aim at the songbird for spending a lot of time showing off her lifestyle instead of churning out great music for her fans.

"Only her pictures are new. On Instagram, she frequently posts. If she could use the same energy she invests in Instagram in music!" said Sendi.

Lydia Jazmine's recent hit song is called Omutima and it was released about five months ago. Kapeesa, which was released in 2021, has also done well.
