Actors and actresses also demanded an explanation from Namulondo Investments as to why the show, which was scheduled for June 2, 2022, did not happen at the last minute. As the day progressed, some actors and actresses undressed in demonstration against the silence of the building's management. The rising tension forced police to fire live bullets in order to disperse the protestors.
The creatives also demanded for the re-opening of the building so that they can resume hosting events. If this won't be the case, they asked the management of the structure to make a public statement banning them from accessing the facility.

Evelyn Lagu, who collapsed on Wednesday last week after news of the cancellation broke, joined the protestors. Lagu explained that she is currently buried in debts because of the huge investment she injected into the event that did not make any returns.
During her recovery at Kiruddu hospital, Lagu explained that she has been shunned by promoters due to her health condition but she managed to sneak into shows and beg to perform. With all the money she collected from these hard-earned performances, plus token of appreciation from fans, she decided to organise her own show.
The singer/actress stressed that not only did the cancellation hurt her pockets, but it made her health worse at the time when she had started to feel better.
