"We changed workers. We are bringing a brand new squad starting Friday, May 3," said Mulondo, who founded Garage Group Uganda, the company that created Bump Love.

"That's when the new squad is taking over."

The KFM radio host also dismissed reports that there was an acrimonious ending with the old cast that had Angie Kemi Omeke, Rachael Mwine Arinaitwe, Pumla Nabachwa, and Rosette Segujja.

Brian Mulondo said the change is necessary for fresh perspectives.

"So we want to get a fresh perspective... Sometimes people can even predict what you are going to say, so we want to switch it up a little bit," he said.

The outgoing cast of Bump Love had been with the show for five years. He said they'll keep switching up the cast to keep the show interesting.

In a video announcing the changes shared some week ago, Manuela said: "It feels really strange sitting here all by myself but I have had to keep reminding myself that seasons change and we have to move."

A commenter said: "We are patiently waiting ❤️much love."

Another noted: "We can’t wait ❤️❤️❤️❤️"

Commenting to a post announcing the departure of the old cast, a fan of the show said: "I'm feeling numb right now, this was something I never ever imagined would happen.

"I wouldn't feel the lower part of my body when Manuela said it was the last show for Rachel, Pumla, Angie, and Rosette 😭😭😭 I had to rewind and make sure I heard her well. Each one of you has impacted my life in countless ways ❤❤. I can't write it all 😢😢"

Brian Mulondo did not reveal who will be in the new cast.
