In the video, he encouraged Saha’s management to curb the pungent cannabis stench that wafts off him during highly esteemed bookings like weddings and high-end corporate affairs.
In the after math of the media frenzy, Brian Mulondo finally opened up about the controversial comments, noting that it was nothing personal, but a wake-up call for people to maintain hygiene.
“Let us be hygienic. That’s the point. Period,” he said.
“It has nothing to do with Saha. It has nothing to do with anyone, that’s all,” he added.
When asked if he had any personal grudge with Saha, he negated, noting that he finds Saha to be an incredible artiste, who songs he actually plays on his radio show.
“The man sings so well, I have nothing against him,” he admitted.
“I play his songs on my program,” he added.
Mulondo, in his defense said that sensationalists blew issues out of proportion.
He further asked people to let the issue go because life must move on.
Mulondo made these comments while in conversation with Urban Television at Zari’s All White Party.
Mulondo responded to questions in the company of his wife, Manuela Mulondo.
Manuela supplemented Brian’s defence noting that Ugandan consumers tend to focus on very specific parts of an interview without investigating how the conversation actually got to that point.
According to Manuela, Brian’s interview was quoted out of context, as she admits to have listened to the entire interview.
