Bobi Wine, a former presidential candidate, was toasted and feted by some comedians, as is their right, but this reportedly didn’t go down well with Muhangi.
Kapale says that Muhangi prohibited them from nailing their colours to the mast of change by siding with Bobi Wine. This infringement of his right to choose the presidential candidate he preferred reportedly infuriated Kapale.
Kapale then accused Muhangi of having a hand in the arrest and kidnap of Sam Okanya, a local comedian whose open show of support for Bobi Wine landed him on the wrong side of the unwritten laws of electoral politics in Uganda.
However, Kapale seems to have had a change of heart and thereby adjusted the lens through which he views Muhangi.
While performing at the Stress Clinic recently, Kapale dramatically fell to his knees and began mouthing an apology to Muhangi for what he had accused him of doing leading to their falling out.
Muhangi, who was in attendance during Kapale’s performance, listened to the comedian apologise for seemingly always hurling abuses at him (Muhangi).
Whether he was joking or not, Kapale said he was hit by singer and presidential adviser Jennifer ‘Full Figure” Nakanguubi’s curse of shooting off at the lip with unwarranted abuses and he thus requested that Muhangi give him a second chance.
