DJ Kii to rock Kigali after successful US, Canada tour

Ugandan talented DJ Kii is set to ignite Kigali once again with a two-night show starting this Friday evening.

At just 21 years old, DJ Kii is a shining example of Uganda's burgeoning DJ talent,

The event, dubbed 'Party with DJ Kii', promises an electrifying atmosphere at the new Crystal Lounge, situated on the rooftop of the KABC building in Kimihurura.

Kigali's own A-listers will be on hand to host the festivities, including the glamorous Miss Rwanda Photogenic 2019, Claudine Uwase Muyango.

DJ Kii just came off a successful tour in US and Canada, where she captivated audiences in major world capitals like Washington DC and Montreal.

Gloria Gatera, one of the event's organizers in Kigali said Kii’s show in Rwanda aligns with their vision of establishing Kigali as Africa's premier entertainment and sports hub, attracting renowned musicians from both within and beyond the continent.

Gatera emphasized another key objective: inspiring young female deejays to carve a niche for themselves in the male-dominated industry.

"This event is a celebration of female empowerment," she declared, "aimed at motivating more young women to pursue careers in the booming entertainment industry. We're excited to host more prominent artists, including Nigerians, on our rooftop venue. This is just the beginning!"

At just 21 years old, DJ Kii is a shining example of Uganda's burgeoning DJ talent, captivating audiences worldwide.

Her last performance in Kigali was a smash hit, rocking the Onomo Hotel on New Year's Eve alongside established DJs like Dope Caesar and Lito.
