At some point, Teta who couldn't take it anymore told her to back off. Atim, who is married to Joseph Mayanja, alias Jose Chamelone – the brother of Weasel Manizo -- wasn't amused and hit back saying Teta's reaction showed she was still inexperienced.
Now, in a recent interview with Ruth Kalibbala, Sandra Teta said she had never spoken to Daniella until she went back to Rwanda in August 2022 following issues with Weasel.
"We never met," said Teta when Kalibbala asked her if Daniella ever supported her when she was pregnant. "We were not friends."
Added Teta: "I first talked to her when I was in Rwanda when I got back home. That's when I really got to talk to he. But throughout the whole saga, I never talked to her, she never talked to me."
According to her, it was Daniella who initiated the conversation.
Ruth Kalibbala: Did you see what she used to post?
Sandra Teta: Of course, it would feel bad. Everybody has their own way of running their family, especially... I believe everyone in families, they have different problems... but I don't think those problems are solved on social media... At the end of the day, you sit down as a family and find solutions to these problems.
[She said she was disappointed in her sharing private information, considering she's a member of the family.]
"It was heartbreaking, but again that's life... It passed and at the end of the day everything is okay," said Teta.
Teta said no one was stopping her from using social media, she just didn't want to use it to address her issues. She also said that her mother-in-law was very supportive despite social media's efforts to spin the matter.
Sandra Teta meeting Weasel
Sandra Teta, a former Miss Universities Rwanda, was born in Uganda but was raised in Rwanda. She returned to Uganda in 2018 to handle public relations for a bar Hideout Lounge which has since collapsed.
A lawyer by profession, Teta had already been hosting events in Rwanda until a friend invited her to do the same work in Kampala. It's while working at Hideout that she met Weasel Manizo.
