Omega 256 blasts Ray G fans; Anne Kansiime, Shine Omukiga speak on concert

Omega 256 said her previous commitments to Ray G should be enough to show that she supports him.

Omega, who has previously performed on some three shows of G for free and also endorsed his upcoming concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, was shocked when his fans turned guns toward her for accepting another gig on the same day the former has a show.

Ray G's concert is slated for May 10 and on that day Omega 256 will be performing in Ishaka.

Speaking to Galaxy TV on Monday, April 30, she said that the performance in Ishaka is not a concert, rather she was booked to perform at a show.

She said she will continue to support G for the success of his show and she has no issues with him

Omega 25 also said she hadn't been contacted by the Omusheshe hitmaker to perform at Lugogo.

Omukiga and Kansiime are sisters!

During a live TikTok session, Shine Omukiga said she won't endorse the concert because G has always refused to support them whenever they have events.

She called him proud.

When one Fleck DJ tagged Kansiime in a Facebook post asking her, among other artistes, what G did to them to the extent of not endorsing their concert, she commented: "Haza Nyowe tinakuhurira [I haven't heard you]. Pardon!?"

Meanwhile, the show's promoter, Nobat Events, last week went on a rant claiming Ray G was scheming to steal money.

He has since apologised to MTN Uganda which he claimed G was conniving with to cheat him through their financial transaction platform dubbed MOMO Pay.

MTN through this platform was among the sponsors though some reports indicate that it cancelled the partnership after Nobat's comments.
