Former Rubaga South MP Kato Lubwama undergoes surgery in Turkey, still in ICU

Former Rubaga South Member of Parliament Kato Lubwama travelled to Turkey last week for personal reasons, however, he got ill and was suddenly rushed to the hospital for treatment.

He went through a successful surgery yesterday March 14, 2022 at the Medicana Hospital, Konya in Turkey where he was admitted.

The news about his successful operation was shared by Kasuku, a media personality and Kato Lubwama’s son.

He reported that Lubwama is currently doing well and out of theatre though is still feeling some pain after the surgery but he will be better since he is on medication.

“Kato Lubwama has successfully undergone an operation in Turkey. He is out of the theatre and doing well. He says ku lunno temwasonze yabawonye nakamanyiro kamwe,” Kasuku posted online.

He added: “However, he complained of constant pain and heart complications so he was rushed to ICU where he is up to now. Your prayers will come in handy. He's in Turkey.”

Kato Lubwama is a Ugandan politician, drama actor, musician, songwriter, comedian, former radio presenter at CBS FM and businessman. He is also known for being so passionate about theatre plays, drama as well as music.
