Faridah Nakazibwe refutes cleric false allegations

For over three days ago, there has been a trending video on different social media platforms where a Muslim cleric is preaching to his followers at an unknown location.

Faridah Nakazibwe

In the video, he is heard giving an example of a female Muslim friend in the name of Ashurah who went to the same class with media personality Faridah Nakazibwe and graduated with a first class degree in journalism from IUIU and went to ask for a job as a news anchor at NTV.

According to the cleric in the video, part of the condition she was given by Frank Walusimbi is if she wanted the job of reading the news, she had to go on set without her veil because NTV is not a muslim founded television which Ashurah rejected being a staunch Muslim saying she has never stepped up in public without her veil.

He adds that Faridah Nakazibwe allowed the condition of anchoring the news without the Muslim veil on her head and that’s why she secured the job.

NTV news anchor Faridah Nakazibwe has come out trashing what the cleric was saying in the video saying its false information and propaganda.

According to Faridah, the cleric in the video wanted to just pass his own message with his hidden agenda and intentions.

She shared the video on her official Twitter account with a caption,

“Be careful not every messenger of God is telling the truth. Ono yayagadde kwesoma,” she tweeted.

She clarifies that whatever is in this video is untrue.

Farida was backed up by her workmate from NTV Solomon Kaweesa a news reporter and said that there's a proper procedure at NTV when one is looking for a job. He says Frank cannot be a news anchor and at the same time a an human Resource [HR].Solomon says whatever the cleric was saying is are broad day naked lies.

“Man of God or Man of god! This is a 'naked' lie. NTV has procedures when you are asking for a job. How can Frank be an anchor and HR at the same time,” Solomon replied under Faridah’s tweet.
