She has been away on motherly duties and trying to catch up with different situations as a mother.

Cindy halted duties of the musician president and all the works of the association were done by her deputy Fina Mugerwa.

Cindy announced her return through her social media platforms and according to her, the first biggest task is organising UMA elections.

“Earlier today, reporting for duty at Uganda Musicians Association [UMA],” she posted on her Instagram.

“There’s so much to catch up on and we’re also preparing for elections. It’s gonna be quite a busy year. I am excited,” King herself added.

Cindy was elected the president of UMA in august 2020 after the then president of the association Ykee Benda resigned. She was sworn at the Ugandan national Theatre in Kampala alongside twelve other association officials that include treasurer and vice president.
