Ann Taylor: Twins are a blessing but they come with a lot of work
Ann Taylor, the host of Sanyuka TV's Music Jam Tunnyuke, recently returned after her maternity leave following the birth of her twins in December 2023.

Q. Welcome back, Ann! How does it feel to be back on TV after your maternity leave?
A. It Feels good to be back at work because I missed my fans, colleagues, and unique bosses.
Q. What did you miss the most about being on TV while away?
A. Working with my crazy workmates, like Kaleera with his hilarious jokes, and the rest of the staff at Next Media.
Q. Congratulations on the birth of your twins! Can you share a bit about your experience as a nalongo with us?
A. Thanks for the congratulations (she smiled). It's the most beautiful experience of my entire life so far. Twins are a blessing; although they come with a lot of work, they also bring so much joy and attention.
Q. Balancing work and family can be challenging. How do you plan to manage your TV hosting duties along with caring for your newborns?
A. It's a bit tricky, but you can't fail to make things happen as a mother. I've learned to manage my time effectively.
Q. Did becoming a parent change your perspective on your career?
A. No, it didn't change my perspective. It has, however, made me realize that I need to work even harder.
Q. Can you tell us about any memorable moments you've had with your twins since their birth?
A. The most memorable moment was hearing them cry for the first time. It was like heaven in my room; tears of joy rolled down my eyes.
Q. Your fans missed you while you were on maternity leave. What message do you have for them now that you're back?
A. I bring NALONGO VIBES to them, and I love them more than they missed me.
Q. What should your fans expect from you now that you're back On-Air?
A. Expect more love and sweet vibes, NALONGO VIBES, like never before.
Q. Are there any new projects or segments you're excited to work on now that you're back on air?
A. I'm working on a project called "Kyamulabi," so look for new episodes soon on my YouTube channel.
Q. What advice do you have for other new moms returning to work after maternity leave?
A. I know it's hard to leave your babies, but you need that job.
Q. Should your fans expect any changes in your delivery and presentation now that you're a nalongo?
A. No, it's only going to get bigger and better.
Q. What are your hopes and aspirations for your career moving forward?
A. I hope my career continues to grow more extensive and more diverse.

A. I commit to loving you, being submissive, and embodying the qualities of the woman described in Proverbs 31.
