Although the event is an opportunity to prove that he is still undisputed in the game, the focus will be on connecting with young people who are surviving with the virus.
In the past Kats made a promise to fight the discrimination and stigma surrounding the virus by 2030 through different campaigns and working with different organisations.
He gained recognition and King of Tooro Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru IV handed him an award for his efforts back in November last year at hotel Africana.
After his efforts to team up with for the cause were frustrated, Kats decided to embark on the campaign solo. He aspires to encompass the country interacting with these young people.
“I have moved in many offices asking them to stand with me in inspiring the young generation with AIDS but they are not willing to help and I am tired. I am starting it myself and I am starting in Mbarara. Though I don’t have much, I am going to use the MIC and the little money I have and try reaching out to these young people,” Kats said
Accompanying Kats are singers Zex Bilangilangi, Nina Roz, Fefe Busi, Daddy Andre and DJs Roja, Shiru, Mercy Pro and many more.
