The CHAN tournament is reserved for footballers plying their trade in their respective domestic leagues.
[PHOTOS]: Uganda Cranes to reside in swanky sea-side hotel during CHAN
Uganda Cranes will be returning to the African Nations Championships (CHAN) in Algeria set for kick off.
The Cranes have been holding a series of build-up matches in Tunisia fine-tuning the team for the tournament. On the pitch, Milutin Sredojevic aka Micho’s men have not registered a confidence boosting performance in the friendlies playing against Cameroon, Mali and Sudan in the friendlies.
However, the national team might perhaps find inspiration in their residential hotel in Algeria for the tournament.
According to FUFA, the Uganda Cranes advance team have now settled in Hotel Military, Annaba (Ben Mustapha Aouda Hotel) which will be the residence of the Cranes during the tournament.
Set by the sea-side, the hotel has picturesque views that should inspire the team to find their calling.
Uganda are pooled against Senegal, DRC, and Ivory Coast in the CHAN group of death.
All odds are stacked against the Cranes yet to make it out of the group stages after five attempts.
