Lwesibawa joins Kitara FC from Gaddafi Modern FC after penning a short contract of six months with the hope that the Hoima based club will qualify for top-tier football at the end of the season.
Kitara boost top-flight football target with Lwesibawa signature
FUFA Big League table leaders Kitara FC have unveiled winger Godfrey Lwesibawa to boost their target of achieving top-flight football next season.
According to reports, Kitara FC goal machine Patrick Kaddu is on his way out of the club and Lwesibawa will be expected to make a good replacement for the star to keep their Uganda Premier League hopes alive.
Lwesibawa brings a wealth of experience to Kitara FC having previously featured for SC Villa, Tooro United, Express FC and the Uganda Sand Cranes.
He also has a good command infront of goal and known for crafting a number of goal scoring chances.
He pledged to help the club achieve its dream of top-flight football.
” I believe this is the right choice and place for me to be, Kitara is an exciting club and I want to pledge my hard work and commitment to them. I love the fans, their passion and want to thank the club president Deo Kasozi for giving me this opportunity. I will give them my best and most importantly help my team return to the top flight”, he said.
