This was revealed by the Archbishop of Kampala Diocese, Paul Ssemogerere, in a statement released by the Diocese on Monday, March 20 2023.
Robbers raid catholic seminary, two priests left injured
Yet to be identified robbers have raided Nswansere Junior Seminary, stolen and vandalised some of the property belonging to the seminary.

“The Archbishop of Kampala Diocese, His Grace Paul Ssemogerere, informs the people of God about the vandalism that occurred at Nswansere Junior Seminary,” the statement read in part.
The incident that occurred on Sunday night left two catholic priests injured. The victims include: Fr. Emmanuel Mukukule and Bro. John Bosco Mwaasa.
The statement indicated the injured victims are now in a stable condition despite sustaining injures as a result of the incident.
The diocese has since summoned Catholics for a prayer of reparation that will take place for three days beginning on 21st to 23rd March, according to the statement.
“During the cruel incident, the Tabernacle was unfortunately deconsecrated! Because of this act of violation, the Archbishop all people of God into a Triduum of prayer for an act of reparation. These three days of reparation will begin on the 21st to 23rd March,” the statement read.
It further read: “Let us join together praying for healing, repentance and restitution of God’s glory. On each of these three days, each one of us is requested to set aside an hour for adoration of the blessed sacrament.”
The Diocese has called on Police to investigate the incident and bring the culprits to book for dishonoring God’s work.
