Owoyesigyire adds, "Police was informed about this act of murder and responded immediately. With the help of CCTV cameras both private and public, we shall be able to trace the culprits and bring them to book. One person has been arrested to help Police in the ongoing investigation."

This murder comes barely a week after the murder of Chief Executive Officer Bukwo district, Mr. Charles Robert Ogwal, which occurred on July 8 at around 11:30pm, at Kiryowa village, along Bombo road.

The two murders are somewhat similar in that they were both government leaders of some standing who were executed brutally in both cases.

Police says that so far four suspects have been arrested in relation to the first murder, including the driver and another suspect who was arrested while hiding in the bush near the scene.
