There is nothing else I can add- Amelia Kyambadde on pressure to return to politics
Former Minister of Trade and cooperatives Amelia Kyambadde has disclosed that as much as she is facing a lot of pressure to return to politics, she feels that she accomplished everything there was for her as a Member of Parliament.
"When I look at my area, I did everything. What more am I going to add? You can't say you are the only one, the alpha and the omega," she said.
The seasoned politicians made these statements while appearing on a local television show today morning.
Kyambadde added that, as much as she feels the pressure to bounce back into the game, she has many personal goals to accomplish.
Among these include venturing into entrepreneurship and studying for her PhD.
She further states that she is reluctant to join politics again because it is not a clean game.
Amelia's political career was put to a halt after she conceded defeat to Hillary Kiyaga of the National Unity Platform (NUP), for the Mawokota South Member Parliamentary seat in the 2021 general elections.
