According to the organisers, this was like a way of paying tribute to the fallen vocalist radio who lost his life in February 2018.

Weasel first came out on social media and made rants of why promoters bring foreign musicians and they again perform Uganda artist’s songs.

Weasel says everyone is allowed to perform radio and Weasels songs as long as they go through the right channels.

“There is no one we can refuse to give rights to perform or pay tribute to our very own as long as you go through the right channels. Show some Respect. Come inquire & Ask for permission. If Wizkid, Rudeboy Psquare can come and ask for permission then who are you? I think we have been too silent, we're gonna start going a bit Hard on this thing,” Weasel posted on his Facebook.

Weasel has made an alarm through his Facebook account to the event managers that organised the Night with Chike event, threatening to serve them soon.

“Mirembe lifestyle and Baileys/ Event organisers our lawyers will be serving you soon. It’s time to step up professionalism in our music industry,” he posted.

He is currently on a tour in Sudan and says will be back soon to see all this getting done and sorted.
