"There is a lot of gossiping. Everyone says what they want. They are saying we hid Sandra and confiscated her phone. She is freely moving around town and she has her phone," Musoke said while appearing on BBS TV.
Weasel's mother says Teta 'deeply in love', son is 'very fine'
The mother of singer Douglas Mayanja alias Weasel Manizo, Proscovia Musoke, dismissed reports that her daughter-in-law Sandra Teta was being harassed, affirming that Teta and Weasel are deeply in love.

"Sandra loves Weasel so much. All her life rotates around Weasel... As per now, all her heart is feeling is Weasel. They love each other so much and they themselves know what happened. We are also surprised by how much they love each other. It's beyond control," she claimed, laughing.
"No one can separate them... We were actually planning an introduction ceremony around June... but some things happened but the plan is still on. The truth is that they love each other. My grand kids [Weasel and Teta's children) are beautiful and in good health."
Musoke said that instead of spreading rumors, people should wait for Teta to file a case with the police, so they can follow it.
"Before that, let them mind their business," she said.
Police Spokesman Fred Enanga told this reporter on Monday that they had interrogated the couple and a report on the case will be released soon.
People who know Weasel have said that it's drug abuse that is unlocking his dark side, but the mother had a different opinion when she was asked about his state of mind.
"No... He is in good condition. Have you seen any problem with him? He is very fine. Ugandans talk a lot, what they know and don't know," she said.
Some people like Claire Nangajja aka Mama Ghetto and Daniella Atim, who is married to Jose Chameleone, Weasel's brother -- say that Teta has been put in a position where she can't easily speak out because of threats.
"How? Is she a kid?" Musoke wondered.
"She knows what she wants. You think there aren't other men who are interested in her? There is no one threatening her."
She didn't deny that the couple were fighting but said that fights always happen in families.
"They fight the way other married people do. Most people in marriages fight. My kids are celebrities, so whatever happens in their lives is known," she said, adding: "There is no peaceful family."
Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesman Patrick Onyango has said two cases have been filed against Weasel, one on domestic violence and the second on disappearance of Sandra.
