Leader of the ‘Real Dance Crew’ Empra has shared pictures of their current accommodation and it is a more than shocking revelation. The boys seem to be at their wits end and have attributed their despair to the singer whom they accuse of cutting them off.
The boys claimed fame when their video on a talent show “Yolesa Ekitone” trended last year. In the video, talent judge Alex Mukula belittles the boys for their disappointing performance, and more than disappointing hygiene. This group of boys caught Bruno K’s attention who led a charity campaign to redeem their self-esteem in the public’s eye.
It appears the boys enjoyed the limelight and the singer’s company with little regard for the inevitable aftermath. Failing to take advantage of their fame to push for their dance career the boys depended on the artist to navigate. Empra says Bruno K cut off all communication after he got frustrated with their incessant asking for help.
The singer has come out to refute these allegations that threaten to tarnish his name.
"My manager housed him for 1 and half years at his home in Nsambya. He was never chased from nsambya he simply left to start a new life. We told him to go back to school he refused. But he kept calling me asking me for money yet I also had issues to fix," Bruno K tweeted
The singer managed to secure the boys some good deals including a full scholarship at Kasangati High School last year.
“I want to thank Hon Simbwa Director of Kasangati high school for granting my brothers 100% scholarship till form 6. The man with a kind heart agreed to take them on until senior 6. Thank you so much Mr. Simbwa, the country needs more people like you,” Bruno K said in thanks.
According to Bruno, he tried his best to help but Empra left his side to start his own life. While he left to become independent, the boy wanted to stay on the singer’s payroll.
