I do not trust men - Sheebah on working with male producers

Singer, Sheebah revealed that she does not trust men, saying this during a recent media press conference. The dancehall artist partially cleared the air around the recent sexual assault allegations that have been excerpted from her confession in an Instagram video.

Sheebah does not trust men

I have never been alone with a male producer in a studio. Men are touchy and can’t be trusted. I always make sure I have company. Also, I don’t let anyone touch me or sneer at me. I am always tough and those who have worked with me know,” she said.

This was in response to a question about whether she finds it challenging to work with male producers.

Back in 2020, a number of upcoming female artists came out to expose producer Andre for allegedly inappropriate behaviour and some for outright assault. The producer was also rumoured to have a king-size bed in his studio.

Nadia Rania reported in an interview that Andre had bothered her for a while asking for sexual relations. This was the match that set off the fire on Andre's secret liaisons.

Jesca Pafra, a dancehall artist from Kasese also came out and pinned him for sexual harassment. The two were quickly joined by Kyle, Amber and Belgian singer Ayanash.

Evidence in form of screenshots was provided but nothing was done about the allegations. Nevertheless one isolated incident does not represent the reality behind the scenes.

Commenting on the sexual assault, Sheebah confessed that while she experienced the unwanted advances she does not have evidence to pin the perpetrator. The assailant was allegedly guarded by SFC officers.

"Do you prepare cameras when you are going to be assaulted. Where do you want me to get evidence you are asking for ? No, there is no proof but I was assaulted," she told journalists who were asking for evidence to prove the she was not putting on a stunt.

However, this will not stop the investigations by the CID detectives which are under-way to get the Swag Mama justice.
