How Angella Katatumba reacted when she was called a 'loss' to her family
Angella Katatumba’s twin brother, Rugiirwa, was recently asked if he looks at his sister as a loss to the family.

Katatumba, who was seated beside him said: "What a great loss! You would wish to have such a loss.”
Rugiirwa said: "Our dad was very proud of her.”
The Katatumba family has been battling businessman Mukesh Babubhai Shukla, aka Shumuk, over ownership of property and in October they defeated him.
Katatumba even dropped a song titled Mufele, Luganda for a scammer, to celebrate the victory.
Shumuk, who runs Shumuk Aluminum Industries, was convicted after the court found that he had forged documents to illegally own Hotel Diplomat Muyenga, which belongs to the late Bonny Katatumba, the former Consular of Uganda to Pakistan and father of Angella.
Court sentenced him to pay a fine of Shs2 million on each of the six counts of uttering a false document or serve two years imprisonment in Luzira prison.
Meanwhile, Katatumba was also asked why she is not getting married yet she is aging. She is said to be 33.
“I don't cook is the message to uplift women,” she responded, referring to her song which advises women to become financially independent so they don’t find themselves restricted to housework they wouldn’t want to do.
Katatumba, who is a divorcee, has said she doesn’t mind how people perceive her lifestyle, after all, it’s her life.

Apart from being involved in family business and singing, Angella Katatumba operates AFK Beauty Clinic which is based in Kalangala.
She went to the family-owned Katatumba Academy for her primary school education after which she attended Belmont Senior Secondary School in India.
She completed her high school education with a diploma in Public Relations and joined Oxford Brookes University in England for a bachelor's degree in Economics and Law from the year 1996 to the year 1999.
She also got a Masters's degree in International Management and Public Relations from the same university.
While in England, she met her former husband, Ward Alonzo and they moved together to his home town in Chicago, Illinois in the United States.
She did a number of public relations jobs there, working with resturants and casinos, and other businesses in the hospitality industry.
She returned to Uganda in 2005 to join family business and also cement her music career.
She has since released a number of music albums, including Peace, Glad I am Alive, Supernatural Girl, Wendi, Biluma Abayaye and I Live for You.
