Brown, also known as Breezy, took to his Instagram Story to ask fans if he’s done enough to get a star on the iconic sidewalk.
Do you think I’ve done enough to get a Hollywood star? - Chris Brown
Singer Chris Brown has asked his fans whether he deserves a spot on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, which is a famous stretch of sidewalk along Hollywood Boulevard marked with the names of the most successful actors, filmmakers, musicians and celebrities in American history.
“Do you think I’ve done enough to get a Hollywood star?” the Virginia born musician asked his fans.
Fans instantly filled the comment section of a DJ Akademiks post after he shared Chris Brown’s post, with many of Brown’s fans evidently confused as they already thought Breezy had a star on the glamourous Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“How tf does this n-gga not have one,” said one person. Another wrote: “I swore he had one.”
Chris Brown’s question comes days after the late Nipsey Hussle received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday (August 15).
Does Brown deserve a star?
Considered one of the greatest performers of his generation, Brown has been in the music industry for over 20 years and he has awards of every tribe such as a Grammys, Video Music Awards (MTV), Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards, American Music awards, Billboard Music trophies and plenty more. All 10 of his studio albums have debuted in the Billboard 200 Top 10, including three No. 1’s.
During one BET Award show, Brown performed a tribute to the late Michael Jackson, including a choreographed dance to “The Way You Make Me Feel,” “Smooth Criminal,” “Billie Jean,” and other hit MJ songs. Then, after these performances, fellow musicians 50 Cent and Justin Bieber said Brown is even greater than Jackson, who received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1984.
