Eddy Kenzo is one of the people in the entertainment industry that have come out to support musician Latinum who battled drug addiction in a rehabilitation facility for two years.

"I had gone to rehab. I used to take a lot of alcohol. I used to do a lot of stuff, so I went to rehab to heal from the addictions. That's where Uncle Eddy [Kenzo] picked me from,” Latinum said.

"God is good that I'm breathing. God is great that life is good.”

Kenzo and Latinum were connected by Fauzi and the duo already has a song out together called Low.

Speaking about helping Latinum, Kenzo said: "I gave Latinum a collabo... We are trying to push him to see how he can revive his career... He made mistakes because he didn't know what to do as a young man..., so I decided to hold his hand.

“He is not under my management but he is under my care. I'm trying to talk to him and show him the way... He is talented, he just needs guidance... Once you give someone an opportunity, you've given them money... I'm just giving a hand as a brother, so don't expect a lot from me.”

Latinum said he started taking drugs through peer groups at school.

"I thank God that I'm still alive... I had the wrong people on my side," he said. "You can't wake up in the morning and stop drinking. I used to drink a lot [he said it four times]… People always deserve a second chance.”

Keko, who got people worried recently after she appeared in a video looking like she was hooked on drugs, has released a brand new jam titled Light Years.

In the new ballad, the rapper sings about life and some of the things she has been through over the years.

Songbird Shine Omukiga, real name Shine Angella Nyonyozi, said that she struggled to have a child, miscarrying 19 times before finally giving birth on Saturday, July 16.

She named her baby Christopher Junior Aine.
