Azawi rewarded with YouTube's Silver Play Button

This award of the Silver play Button is given to all YouTubers after hitting 100k subscribers and this is one of Youtube's creator awards.

She is now part of the few Ugandan musicians and YouTubers like Sheebah and Spice Diana that have managed to bag this award from the platform.

As part of the celebration, the Nkukyekele musician took to her social media and posted pictures of her holding the YouTube award with a caption thanking her fans for being part of her journey and enabling her to make it.

“Thank you @youtubemusic and to the fans who make the views count Muli Ba Majje Nyo,” Azawi tweeted.

Azawi is currently at the top of her music career with top hits like Majje and My Year. She is also one of the most booked musicians in Uganda of late.

Swangz Avenue’s music sensation last year also released her debut album African Music which has been top charts with songs topping charts on different recognizable music streaming platforms like apple music.

Her current music status has also won her a number of endorsement deals and international bookings.
