PPDA launches business exposition 2022 with an eye on boosting economic growth
The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA) has organised a business exposition 2022 for July 8 to July 10 at Kololo Independence Grounds.

This exposition will also enhance stakeholders’ understanding of the PPDA processes and systems in order to guide and guard procurement processes effectively, thereby allowing these companies to exhibit, collaborate and grow together synergistically.
Government expenditure
The Uganda government annually spends up to 60% of its budget on Public Procurement, turning the exposition into fertile ground for providers in the market for virgin business opportunities.
Again, the exposition is an opportunity for government agencies to display their achievements and accountability.
It shall also favourably agglomerate entities in the private and corporate sectors, multi-national agencies, government ministries, departments and agencies and the general public.
PPDA said this exposition will facilitate the constructive engagement of suppliers /providers along with key personnel and organisations that contribute to public procurement.
“We shall leverage the exposition to train stakeholders on the Electronic Government Procurement (eGP), bid support and conduct skill development sessions under different categories such as; Business Financial Management, Agribusiness, Procurement And Bid Support, Customer Relations, Tax Planning & Management, Marketing And Branding And Social Value & Sustainability as part of enhancing companies and propelling national development. All skills seminars will be for free,” said PPDA.
Suppliers/providers who have registered for exposition will be registered and trained for free with a PPDA certificate made accessible thereof in one day during the exposition.
