A one Somaiyah Kagbilu aka Sumi, has dragged Uganda Cranes star Khalid Aucho to police for allegedly forcefully taking custody of their daughter.

Aucho, a vastily experienced footballer has largely enjoyed a scandal free career and is reported to be one of the fans’ favourite stars in the NBC Premier League, Tanzania where he plies his trade with Yanga Sports Club.
He was instrunmental in Yanga’s historic treble winning season dominating the domestic space in Tanzanian football.

Yanga aka Tiimu ya Wanaichi also concluded the 2011/22 season unbeaten in the league. Yanga won the league with 3 games to spare amassing 71 points from 29 matches leaving bitter rivals Simba SC a distant 11 points away in second place. Yanga won 21 matches, drew eight and lost none.
Aucho lifted the NBC Premier League, FA Cup and the Community Shield and also scored the winning penalty in the FA Cup finale.
The club has since handed him a new contract keeping him in Tanzania till 2025.
