Watch: Uganda women vibe to Kizz Daniel's 'Buga'

The Crested Cranes were spotted vibing to the popular Afrobeats 2022 smash hit ahead of their opening Group A fixture

The Uganda Crested Cranes qualified to the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) after Kenya failed to play their second round qualification match due to a current FIFA suspension.

Uganda women's qualification was their first since 2000 when they earned a spot for the very first time.

And now, the Crested Cranes hope to put on a good performance at the final tournament in Morocco, where they have been drawn in Group A against the hosts, Burkina Faso and Senegal.

In preparations against their opening fixture, the Crested Cranes were spotted vibing to the popular Afropop smash hit 'Buga' in a video uploaded by the official Twitter handle of the CAF Womens Football.

'Buga (Lo Lo)' is a 2022 Afropop song by the highly regarded Nigerian Afrobeat singer and songwriter Kizz daniel and features fellow Afropop superstar Tekno.

"Buga” is a song that talks about money, motivation, and jamboree as per Genius.

The viral smash hit currently has over 10 million streams on popular digital music streaming platform Spotify.

The song also has two official videos on YouTube, with the main Music video garnering over 12 million views currently while the Lyric video is on 19 million views.

The Crested Cranes hope to impress in their debut but first have to face the Lionesses of Teranga (Senegal) on Sunday, 3 July.
