Title holders Vipers Sports Club have scooped their fifth consecutive win with a statement victory at home over embattled SC Villa.
At the St Mary’s Stadium, Vipers forward Yunus Sentamu put the Joogos to the sword netting his sixth goal of the season. Karim Wantambala was the other goal scorer as Vipers carried the day 2-0.
In the other matchday action, KCCA FC defeated Gaddafi FC 2-1 at the MTN Philip Omondi Stadium, Naguru to register their fourth win in the last five matches.
A brilliant Allan Okello and Brian Majwega ensured KCCA FC carried maximum points.
Sotilto Bright Stars’ Nelson Senkatuka made the difference netting two goals as they beat BUL FC in their third consecutive win.
Uganda Premier League debutants, Blacks Power moved out of the red zone as they secured their second win of the season. Playing at home at the Akii Bua Stadium Blacks Power Ivan Okello gave hope to the debutants.
